I really enjoyed that sestina, especially lines like "all that carousing and chaos without reason or explanation" and "which, if it were otherwise, would be salvation." And the last three lines are wonderful, the way they collapse into simplicity and mystery.
In a tangential way your poem reminds me of Whitman's "Riddle Song."
