Kitchen Press, Launch & Preview
Kitchen Press is an independent micro-press located in Hell's Kitchen, NYC, that specializes in publishing poetry chapbooks. All our books are handmade, and distributed to book stores in and around New York City, and across the country.
You Being You By Proxy, by Justin Marks, will be Kitchen Press' first publication, and is slated for a mid-August release.
Poems by Justin Marks can be found in Typo, Black Warrior Review, The New York Quarterly, Redivider, Sidereality, Euphony, and Fifth Street Review. He is the Editor of LIT magazine and lives in NYC.
Future Kitchen Press publications include chapbooks by Chris Tonelli, Ana Bozicevic-Bowling, and Matt Rasmussen.
Chris Tonelli lives in Cambridge, MA. His poems, essays, and reviews have recently appeared or are forthcoming in LIT, The New York Quarterly, Asheville Poetry Review, GutCult, Sonora Review, Drunken Boat, and Redivider.
Ana Bozicevic-Bowling is a Croatian poet writing in English. Her poems can be found in And Then, can we have our ball back?, The Cortland Review, LIT, The New York Quarterly, Redivider and Sí Señor. Her translations of Croatian poet Viktor Vida have appeared in 6x6.
Matt Rasmussen lives in Boston and has had poetry published in Poet Lore, Oyez Review, Poetry Motel, and LIT. He has poems forthcoming from The New York Quarterly and Poetry Midwest. He is currently an alternate for a 2005-2006 Writing Fellowship at The Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, MA.
